About the role

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (pipelines, CI/CD, repository management)
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications on OpenShift
  • Implement and operate service mesh (Istio) for traffic management, observability, and security
  • Write automation and tooling using scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Support microservices architecture deployment, monitoring, and reliability practices
  • Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines following DevSecOps practices
  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers
  • Operate and optimize cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or other providers)
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to modernize operations and deliver technology solutions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles
  • Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps (pipelines, CI/CD, repository management)
  • Experience deploying and managing containerized applications on OpenShift
  • Knowledge of service mesh technologies, especially Istio (traffic management, observability, security)
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar)
  • Proven experience with microservices architecture (design, deployment, monitoring)
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices (integrating security into CI/CD pipelines)
  • Solid background in Linux and Windows administration (server setup, configuration, troubleshooting)
  • Strong understanding of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or other major providers)
