About the role

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
  • Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Manage deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP (compute, storage, networking, IAM).
  • Build and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE, or on-prem).
  • Set up and maintain monitoring/alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack).
  • Implement DevSecOps practices, enforce least-privilege access, and monitor vulnerabilities.
  • Work closely with development teams to streamline code releases, resolve deployment issues, and optimize system performance.
  • Write scripts in Bash, Python, or Go to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflows.
  • Implement backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Engineering, or related field**.
  • **2–4 years** of relevant experience in DevOps, System Administration, or Cloud Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with **Linux administration** and **network fundamentals**.
  • **Cloud Platforms**: AWS / Azure / GCP (at least one in-depth).
  • **CI/CD Tools**: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
  • **IaC Tools**: Terraform, Ansible, Helm.
  • **Containers & Orchestration**: Docker, Kubernetes.
  • **Monitoring & Logging**: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK.
  • **Version Control**: Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
  • **Scripting & Automation**: Bash, Python, Go.
  • **Networking & Security**: Firewalls, VPNs, SSL/TLS, IAM, Secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
