About the role
- Proficiency in R Programming is required
- Develop and maintain advanced Shiny applications, including reactivity, modules, layouts, and custom input/output components
- Customize Shiny applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Integrate Shiny applications with databases (e.g., SQL databases) for data storage, retrieval, and manipulation
- Create interactive and insightful visualizations using libraries like Plotly within Shiny apps
- Implement testing and automation practices, including familiarity with Python and the Selenium testing framework; write unit tests and perform debugging
- Optimize Shiny applications for performance, minimizing load times, improving responsiveness, and handling large datasets
- Use Git for version control and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Understand requirements, document application features, and effectively communicate technical concepts
- Collaborate with clinical, medical affairs, and commercial teams to deliver biopharmaceutical-focused solutions
- Title flexibility across Stat Prog II, Sr Stat Prog, and Principal Stat Prog levels
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in R Programming
- Proficiency in R Programming
- Advanced Shiny Development, including reactivity, modules, layouts, and custom input/output components
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Python and Selenium testing framework
- Ability to create interactive and insightful visualizations using libraries like Plotly within Shiny apps
- Experience integrating Shiny applications with databases (e.g., SQL databases) for data storage, retrieval, and manipulation
- Proficiency in Git for collaborative development and code management
- Performance optimization skills for Shiny applications, including minimizing load times, improving responsiveness, and handling large datasets efficiently
- Ability to write unit tests, perform debugging, and troubleshoot issues within Shiny applications
- Strong communication skills to understand requirements, document application features, and effectively communicate technical concepts
- Agile experience
