Lead the development and execution of advanced electrical systems and drive solutions across Oil & Gas, Naval, and Industrial sectors
Architect and lead the design of high-performance electrical systems and drive solutions (compressors, pumps, subsea systems, shipboard propulsion, power distribution, arc furnaces, rolling mills, large motor drives)
Design and application of STATCOM systems for grid support and reactive power compensation
Interface with mechanical, controls, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure integrated system performance
Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and field validation of delivered systems
Engage with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and drive innovation
Collaborate with ITO teams to define technical scope, assess risks, and support customer-facing proposal development
Participate in risk reviews and ensure technical feasibility, compliance, and alignment with business goals
Provide engineering leadership during OTR execution to ensure system performance, quality, and schedule adherence
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical systems engineering
Experience in Oil & Gas, Naval, and Industrial sectors
Proven expertise in power electronics and drive systems
Specialized knowledge of Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC) topologies
Strong understanding of STATCOM, arc furnace systems, and utility-scale power electronics
Experience supporting ITO/OTR processes, including risk reviews and proposal development
Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, or PLECS
Familiarity with relevant standards (IEEE, IEC, MIL-STD) and customer specifications
Experience with GE Power Conversion platforms and technologies
Knowledge of naval electrical standards and shipboard power architectures
Field experience in system commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support
Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring capabilities
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
