About the role
- Serve as the GE Vernova Electrification Systems segment (GEV ELEC) central point of contact supporting the value proposition for the entire segment portfolio.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the customer’s culture, needs, business objectives & business strategy.
- Lead all aspects of account management, promoting & selling solutions.
- Ensure one GEV face to the customer to increase shareholder value of GEV and the Customer.
- Own the Customer Relationship from the C-suite down.
- Collaborate with internal teams for opportunities that require complex or multi-BL solutions.
- Develop and drive the account relationship mapping process.
- Arrange regular business reviews and generate opportunities for ongoing engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Eng. or related discipline from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 8 years of additional experience in direct sales/commercial, marketing, account management or another EPC or end user customer or supplier facing role.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy, T&D, power generation, and/or renewables industry
- Proximity to the Customer Center of Competence or willingness to relocate.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, as required.
- Demonstrated success developing and maintaining GE cross business relationships at multiple levels.
- Demonstrated ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining customer relationships at C-suite level
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy industry
- Experience as the lead account manager/ leading an account team with identified key customers who have broad product portfolios.
- Demonstrated strength in interpersonal, written, presentation and communication skills; especially with all business levels including senior leadership.
- Strong preference for candidate to be near a major airport in (less than 1 hour)
- Strong financial management skills with knowledge of utility economics and competitive landscape
- Experience navigating GEV Businesses in order to better combine GEV Vision with Customer Strategy to communicate the key interactions that can drive success for both organizations.
