Lead delivery of large-scale infrastructure and energy projects across Australia, accountable for end-to-end project execution and profit & loss management
Oversee EPC turnkey solution projects and equipment/product-only engagements from planning through execution
Provide direct and indirect leadership for medium to large-scale projects including utilities, LNG plants, AC & DC rail systems, data centers, and defence programs
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and contract governance frameworks
Engage and influence stakeholders, manage risks, and ensure adherence to contract lifecycle processes
Apply modularisation and stick-built construction methodologies and advanced project engineering practices
Perform bid evaluation, cost estimation, technical development, and technical governance
Manage staffing, performance development, team consensus-building, and mentor less experienced colleagues
Use analytical thinking and technical knowledge to propose innovative solutions and stay abreast of industry best practices and market competition
Monitor and respond across different time zones as required by global operations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
10–15 years of project management experience within the utilities sector
Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects for Australian utility companies (experience with synchronous condensers projects highly regarded)
PMP certification (PMI USA) with in-depth expertise in project lifecycle management
Proficient in MS Project, Primavera, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in cross-cultural and international business environments
Ability to work across different time zones and respond outside normal working hours
