About the role
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) across all wind operations in North America
- Champion a proactive safety culture that prioritizes employee well-being and operational excellence
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into all aspects of operations
- Inspire and develop a high-performing EHS team across North America
- Interface with customers and contractors to communicate EHS performance, expectations, and compliance requirements
- Utilize analytics and leading indicators to identify trends, predict risks, and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in the field of EHS or engineering
- 15+ years of EHS leadership experience, ideally in renewable energy or industrial sectors
- Proven ability to lead distributed teams and influence across a matrix organization
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data for decision-making
- Communicate complex messages and negotiate internally and externally to influence outcomes
