About the role

  • Responsible for the management of offshore (in Saudi) supply chain of multiple project portfolios from PO creation to goods receipt
  • Follow the supplier(s), partners and customer with the right level of expediting
  • Manage local content requirements and reporting
  • Define, execute, monitor, and deliver all localization related initiatives and commitments
  • Assess all necessary Localization initiatives, evaluate effectiveness of current strategy, and form a baseline across all the Program’s projects
  • Partner with other localization leaders for internal and external communication highlighting local content in Saudi
  • Ensure timely reporting and submission of regular reporting and audited local content score
  • Track and report on localization performance, providing insights to senior management
  • Use data to drive decision-making, improve processes, and demonstrate ROI of localization efforts
  • Manage purchase order creation and revision for offshore purchases
  • Organize and plan internal and external inspections + expediting
  • Report procurement KPI and own standardization progress reports
  • Develop the procurement tool Power BI according to the program expectation
  • Manage discrepancies of order confirmations for offshore purchases
  • Collaborate closely with Sourcing organization to define and manage progress plans
  • Regular suppliers’ performance reviews

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Project Supply Chain / Procurement Management
  • Experience in leading and managing strategy for local content and localization programs
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills (data processing)
  • The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction
  • Master’s degree in procurement or supply chain or equivalent experience (Desired)
  • Working knowledge of Power BI (Desired)
  • Knowledge of the ERP SAP (Desired)
  • Effective problem-solving ability to lead and influence others (Desired)
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs (Desired)
  • Team Player, flexible attitude and willing to work on projects (Desired)
