About the role

  • Lead monthly/ quarterly close procedures & reporting globally
  • Drive timeliness & accuracy in financial closing & reporting and manage related communications with all Regions, Accounting COE and GEV HQ where appropriate
  • Provide controllership leadership on new ERP implementations and migrations
  • Understand business processes and systems to help streamline and make the processes more efficient
  • Manage cross business schedules for ownership changes
  • Coordinate account reconciliation activity and own metrics
  • Manage 3-4 Accenture contractors

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (this is a must in Hungary) or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Major experience in audit, accounting and/or controllership
  • Strong controllership mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and present complex financial data
  • Proven track record driving process improvements and projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent English knowledge is essential
  • Excellent PC skills including Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Experience in various GEV Financial Systems, including ERP’s – Oracle, SAP
