About the role

  • Support ITO organization on business development strategy for software-based GridBeats solutions
  • Drive sustainable growth for Digital Substations, Asset Management, Substation Monitoring, Autonomous Distribution and Cybersecurity portfolio
  • Provide technical expertise and solutions, influence customers to adopt GridBeats portfolio, generate demand and perform technical analysis of specifications
  • Act as solution architect; define scope, optimize solutions, and support Tendering and Commercial teams
  • Lead value proposition discussions and obtain solutions approvals to drive new solution adoption
  • Build technical relationships with customers and partners; deliver presentations, trainings, system integration support and proof-of-concept projects
  • Together with sales, prospect opportunities, maintain detailed project pipeline for LAM and support orders forecasts
  • Serve as technical link between LAM region and GridBeats Global Product Line, providing market intelligence and support
  • Develop new leads in segments like Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Mining, Railways and Oil & Gas
  • Report to the LAM GridBeats Growth Leader and work with Sales Team to promote GridBeats solutions

Requirements

  • Degree in electronic or electrical engineering, control & autoation engineering, or related degree
  • Experience in Application Engineering for Substation Protection, Automation and Control Systems
  • Experience with protection, automation, control and monitoring solutions (relays, controllers, PMUs, SCADA systems, network devices)
  • Experience in Protection, Automation, Control and Monitoring Solutions
  • Communication protocols knowledge
  • Basic knowledge on Cybersecurity for OT and Asset Management solutions
  • Deep knowledge on IEC61850 (Station and Process Bus) standard
  • Knowledge of Digital Control Systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly on technical topics
  • Ability and willingness to travel more than 30% of the time
  • Fluent in English; Native in Portuguese or Spanish
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Advanced ability to obtain data, treat, analyze, extract information and plan actions based on data from various sources
  • Ability to document, plan, market and execute programs
