Own the market definition of Grid Automation or Telecom Solutions within North America: market trends & size of market, competitive intel, customer adoption of key technologies, etc.
Collaborate with Global Product Line to ensure North American definition is considered within Global roadmaps
Create market demand for the solution in US & Canada, working cross-functionally with Marketing & Product Line to generate thought leadership material & marketing campaigns.
Act as Solutions ambassador by speaking at tradeshows, schools, and other customer-facing events.
Create the commercial strategy & attack plan to drive adoption of Grid Automation solutions at customers
Define positioning of the solution considering facets like value proposition, differentiation, and customer use cases
Define the Go-to-market plan and customer targets, including identification of new customers or partnerships to expand market access
Define & own the Sales Playbook for the Solution, and deployment to sales team & channel partners
Own Identification & Qualification of new customer opportunities for the Solution and work with Sales & Channels to approach.
Support the progression of all Solution opportunities through the sales cycle, from Identification to Win
Act as champion for the solution internally: drive excitement, education, & best practice sharing cross-functionally and throughout all GE Vernova’s business lines.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Power Engineering or other technical field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Utilities and/or Large Industrial customers on Automation & Control, Reliability, Telecom Infrastructure, or Power & Asset Management topics
Minimum of 3 years experience in a commercial role (sales, account management, etc)
Minimum of 5 years experience in business planning or strategy definition
