About the role
- Lead quarterly close activities including reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Collaborate with auditors by providing necessary documentation and support for internal and external audit processes
- Ensure compliance with risk and control frameworks and meet all audit requirements
- Perform quality checks on output produced by team members for Corporate Solutions Finance stakeholders
- Conduct comprehensive analysis related to accounting policies, reporting, monitoring, and reconciliation activities
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team delivery and efficiency
Requirements
- College graduate with BA or BS in Accounting
- Five plus years of work experience in the insurance industry
- CPA certification or equivalent; 2-5 years experience
- Strong knowledge of statutory accounting policies and regulatory framework
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with US Statutory accounting principles
