About the role
- Lead the design and implementation of Sutter Health’s community grantmaking and investment strategy.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of community health investments.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with community-based organizations, public agencies, and local leaders.
- Participate in the development of Sutter Health’s tri-annual Community Health Needs Assessment.
- Contribute to internal and external communications that highlight community health activities, partnerships, and impact stories.
Requirements
- Bachelor's: Public Policy, Public Health or Public Administration, or a related field
- 8 years recent relevant experience
- Significant understanding of community-based organizations and local and statewide Foundations and government agencies.
- Knowledge of public relations and event coordination.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.
- Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with executives and senior management teams.
