About the role

  • Responsible for day-to-day management, technical segmentation execution, optimization, and analysis of email and digital marketing campaigns using advanced marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Manages the full marketing automation campaign lifecycle, from strategy and planning through development, segmentation (SQL), deployment, and reporting, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, and optimized for customer engagement.
  • Applies advanced segmentation and Marketing Cloud architecture expertise to drive and track conversions, strengthen deliverability, and execute high-quality acquisition marketing across devices and platforms.
  • Influences the design of Sutter Health’s marketing automation approach and supports consistent, high-impact acquisition efforts.

Requirements

  • 2 years recent relevant experience
  • Expertise in digital email design utilizing HTML, CSS, and AMPscript coding as demonstrated by a portfolio.
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing automation email deployment systems, CRM systems, data feeds.
  • Expertise in email deliverability, sender reputation and related best practices.
  • Ability to learn new marketing automation systems, coding languages and data architecture.
  • Effective digital campaign/outreach reporting skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of email development / marketing related best practices and exceptional attention to detail with time management skills, interpersonal communications skills and effective problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing communication principles, practices and techniques with a solid understanding of current technical and social markets.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills with a proven track record of effective project management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with time management and organization skills, including being an effective decision maker and expert delegator.
  • Expertise in current design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CS5 and beyond) and knowledge of PC standards for file conversion, including the ability to design multi-dimensional Microsoft PowerPoint presentations and a working knowledge of HTML/CSS, Flash, Dreamweaver, and Fireworks.
  • Ability to evaluate marketing plans and processes to recommend process improvements.
  • Work independently, as well as be part of the team, with interpersonal, negotiation and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Manage, prioritize and drive multiple projects in an ever-changing environment to deliver quality products and services on-time and on-budget.
  • Identify and solve complex problems based on the analysis of multiple sources of information while providing new perspectives on existing solutions.
  • Build collaborative working relationships with peers, other departments, stakeholders and vendors to achieve marketing goals and corporate objectives.
