About the role

  • Effectively supervises and coordinates the overall management of activities of the pharmacy technicians/Medication Management Navigators including scheduling, training, coaching and counseling, and performance evaluations
  • Organizes workflow and establishes priorities for pharmacy technicians/Medication Management Navigator
  • Completes performance evaluations in a timely and efficient manner
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure continuity of services provided by the pharmacy technicians/Medication Management Navigators
  • Collaborates with others to coordinate services, streamline workflow, standardize procedures, and/or drive positive outcomes

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program OR Met Board of Pharmacy requirements to obtain registration
  • PHRMTECHR-Registered Pharmacy Technician
  • PHARMC-Certified Pharmacy Technician
  • 5 years of recent relevant Experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmaceutical generic and trade names, pharmaceutical calculations, and laws and regulations relating to the practice of Pharmacy.
  • Basic arithmetic and algebra.
  • Computer literate in the Microsoft Windows environment with a moderate level of competency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Requires a basic working knowledge of legal requirements and accreditation standards, including National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), The Joint Commission (TJC), Title XXII, United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and United States Pharmacopeia (USP).
