• Coordinates regular interaction with suppliers and cross-functional teams

Cost Engineer II

Procurement

• Lead a team of Commodity Specialists to manage supplier delivery performance
• Guide and support team in their roles as primary escalation points for our site materials teams
• Partner with site materials management, planning teams, and suppliers to achieve root cause and corrective actions on any repeat or systemic delivery issues
• Develop and deploy standard work and performance dashboards to improve procurement processes
• Coach and develop team to ensure goals are accomplished
• Serve as main sourcing leadership escalation point for operational sourcing issues
• Leverage commodity management teams to resolve commercial issues
• Support transfers of work by assuring proper purchasing setup
• Represent sourcing in internal business reviews
• Engage regularly with category management teams and leadership

• Develop, analyze, and document product cost estimates
• Budget, plan, and monitor key investments
• Participate in new product development (NPD), design, and cost improvement (DCI) projects
