About the role
- Designing and maintaining enterprise-wide infrastructure.
- Managing cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure.
- Leading system upgrades, migrations, and automation initiatives.
- Mentoring junior team members and providing technical leadership.
- Developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT related fields (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, etc.), preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a server/system support role
- Experience in Cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), virtualization (Hyper-V and Proxmox)
- Key qualifications include expertise in Windows/Linux environment, infrastructure automation, project leadership, and relevant certifications, like MCSE or VMware VCP
- Experienced in ITIL or equivalent IT operation framework
- Experienced in IT process improvement and documentation
- Experienced in dealing with various compliance and auditing
- Experienced in Automation/Scripting
- Experienced in Networking with strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and security principles
- Experienced in infrastructure with storage systems (SAN/NAS), firewalls, and data center management
- Strong leadership, project management, analytical thinking, and effective communications skills.
