About the role
- Own and grow a defined sales territory, managing both existing customers and new prospects
- Build strong, long-term relationships by understanding customer applications and solving real problems
- Prospect for new business through cold calls, referrals, and face-to-face sales visits
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan in partnership with leadership
- Apply your hose and fittings expertise to accurately specify products and support customer orders
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Sell responsibly and profitably, meeting gross margin expectations
- Use CRM and sales tools to plan your time, manage opportunities, and track territory performance
- Be visible and responsive by communicating with customers in person, by phone, and via email
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
- 3+ years of industrial sales experience (hose & fittings experience strongly preferred)
- Solid working knowledge of industrial hose, fittings, and related applications
- A natural relationship builder who earns trust quickly
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams
- Strong organization and time-management skills in a fast-paced, territory-based role
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the territory (occasional overnight travel)
