About the role
- Support customers and outside sales team
- Prioritize and manage your workload in a fast-paced environment
- Proactively anticipate customer's and manager's needs
- Field 50-100+ calls/emails daily
- Effectively communicate via email/phone
- Process requests for price, delivery, returns, order status, order expedites, product literature, and technical assistance.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Associates / Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in an inside sales / customer service position
- Previous experience in customer service, sales and/or purchasing within a manufacturing or distribution environment is strongly preferred
- Proficient with software programs relating to the customer service position including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and vendor pricing programs
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Working experience with Trend is a plus
- Strong organizational skills, analytical, mathematical, and mechanical aptitude is required
