About the role
- Own the day-to-day execution for a roster of film, television, and streaming clients
- Active media outreach and securing impactful placements
- Draft and execute creative pitches, press materials, and digital-first content
- Pitch and place stories across traditional media, digital outlets, and creator platforms
- Identify cultural trends and social moments
- Manage the essential foundation of accounts
- Provide support for press junkets, red carpet premieres, and festival screenings
- Prioritize professional poise in every interaction
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in PR or communications with a focus on film and television
- proven track record of securing results
- managing the moving parts of a high-pressure account
- understanding of the modern media landscape
- ability to translate social listening and digital insights into actionable strategies
- strong writing and pitching skills
- high EQ and situational awareness
