About the role
- Partner with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to conduct needs assessments, learning objectives, and recommend appropriate instructional strategies and delivery modalities (e.g., e-learning, blended, instructor-led, microlearning).
- Design, develop, and revise engaging and effective learning content, ensuring alignment with adult learning principles and organizational goals.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of learning assets for accuracy, consistency, accessibility and technical functionality.
- Utilize evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness and business impact of learning programs; use data to continuously iterate and improve content.
- Serve as the secondary administrator for the LMS (Docebo), supporting configuration, integration points, and ongoing operational maintenance.
- Upload, test, and manage learning content (SCORM, xAPI, AICC, documents) and curriculum structures within the LMS, ensuring proper version control and catalog organization.
- Support user account management, organizational hierarchies, roles, permissions, and enrollment rules.
- Provide prompt tier 2 technical support to learners, power users and administrators regarding LMS access and functionality issues.
- Create, monitor and analyze standard and custom LMS reports on training completion rates, usage statistics, evaluation scores, and other key learning metrics to inform decision-making.
- Monitor LMS performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and support system updates/patches.
- Maintain comprehensive LMS administration documentation and provide training to end-users and internal team members on system functionality and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a technical administrator of an enterprise-level LMS.
- Proven ability to apply instructional design models to create engaging learning solutions.
- Proficiency with at least one major LMS platform.
- Proficiency with industry-standard e-learning authoring tools.
- Understanding of web standards, content packaging formats (SCORM, xAPI), and data security principles related to learning platforms.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Superior verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively consult with and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills for generating reports and troubleshooting technical LMS issues.
