About the role
- Handle developing and managing relationships with providers
- Communicate with providers about benefit programs to aid DLR in risk markets
- Evaluate and monitor provider cost reports
- Handle recruiting new providers and maintaining network participation
- Educate providers on policies and procedures
- Promote dentist adoption of technology solutions
- Seek continuous improvements to internal methods
- Facilitate Oral Health presentations
- Create and submit required reports
- Develop presentations of company benefit programs
- Measure impact of provider satisfaction and respond to issues
- Organize and present information to providers
- Assist in problem resolution
- Investigate fee schedules and negotiate custom fee schedules
- Provide regular updates to senior management
- Develop and implement processes for client and provider satisfaction
- Maintain a secondary network for all eligible members
Requirements
- Dental knowledge with five (5) or more years of office experience
- Managed Care experience
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel up to 50% locally
