About the role
- Oversee six Regional Color Match Laboratories (RCML) across North America
- Support customer project requests, quality systems, and standardized processes
- Provide leadership, drive continuous improvement, and ensure consistency in color management operations, processes, and employee development
- Research, develop, and implement continuous standardization processes using Six Sigma tools, color software/hardware tools, and data analysis
- Review statistical data to identify process defects, testing exceptions, and service trends
- Direct and coordinate improvement and prevention plans with team members
- Develop strategic goals, provide leadership guidance, and assess employee development and performance for RCML supervisors and technicians
- Manage new customer business transitions with cross-functional teams
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical, development, and customer teams
- Lead weekly national planning/review meetings focused on continuous improvement, actions, results, and measurable outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant field (Graphic Arts, Color Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related discipline) — equivalent industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following: graphic arts, color management systems, quality control, ink technical service, business process improvement, project coordination, or supervisory/managerial roles
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); basic knowledge of MS Access
- Strong working knowledge of SAP
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated project management, leadership, and creative problem-solving abilities
- Strong mathematical, organizational, and administrative skills.
