About the role
- Provides manufacturing and operational support to Sun Chemical inplants
- Performs all inplant duties including batch production, color matching, inventory management, formula management, site specific reporting, and Sun Chemical reporting
- Learns and complies with all safety requirements
- Implements Sun Chemical inplant procedures and best practices
- Performs inplants assessments (audit) at inplants in this region
- Participates in transitional activities related to new business opportunities or capital projects
- Completes monthly training activities as assigned
- Supports CTS team as directed by CTS technicians and Regional Inplant Operations Manager
- Logs all field activity in the Sun Chemical CRM tool
- Completes technical call and trial reports as needed
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Inplant work experience required
- Must have good color vision and be able to match colors
- Good customer presence and ability to work in various manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with inplant SOPs
- Familiar with standard manufacturing safety procedures
- Broad experience with ink systems and printing technologies preferred
- Process improvement training preferred (six sigma, 5S, Lean, Kepner Tregoe, QA, etc.)
