About the role

  • The Global EHS Systems Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, implementation, and continuous improvement of Sun Chemical’s global EHS digital infrastructure.
  • Ensure that EHS systems support compliance, risk management, and performance improvement across all company locations worldwide.
  • Bridge EHS and IT functions, translating operational needs into scalable digital solutions.
  • Manage the global strategy and evolution of EHS software platforms (e.g., EtQ, Cority, Enablon, Intelex).
  • Coordinate system upgrades, testing, and deployment in collaboration with IT and software vendors.
  • Ensure alignment of system functionality with global EHS policies and business-specific requirements.
  • Maintain data integrity, develop KPI dashboards, and support audit readiness and regulatory reporting.
  • Integrate EHS systems with ERP (e.g., SAP), quality, and maintenance platforms.
  • Standardize risk assessment tools, action tracking, and digitalize contractor management processes globally.
  • Coordinate global EHS policy and procedure updates within the system, harmonizing regional documentation.
  • Act as liaison between EHS, Manufacturing, Technology, IT, and external vendors, while providing training and support to global users.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in EHS systems management.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Proven project management and change leadership experience.
  • Experience working across global regions (EMEA, Americas, APAC).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with chemical manufacturing or compounding industries.
  • Preferred: Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and database management.
  • Preferred: Background in ISO auditing and regulatory compliance.
  • Preferred: Experience implementing digital tools in a global or multi-site environment.
