About the role
- Support day-to-day business, people, and finance operations, ensuring core internal processes run smoothly.
- Assist procurement and legal operations workflows, including contract intake, prioritization, tracking prior agreements, and supporting contracts through execution.
- Maintain and audit employee data across HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems for onboarding and offboarding.
- Coordinate with our PEO on payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance requests, and year-end processes, including preparing payroll inputs, managing contractor and EOR records, and supporting reimbursements.
- Support operations projects, such as performance review cycles, compensation updates, and business compliance projects.
- Provide light office operations support for the New York office, including vendor coordination and general workplace needs.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, HR, people operations, or finance operations.
- Experience working with PEOs (e.g., Sequoia One, Deel) and familiarity with AP, expense, and HRIS systems (e.g., Zip, Navan, HiBob) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong preference for someone based in the New York City area.
