About the role
- Develops and implements sourcing plans and tactics to manage assigned spend categories
- Work cross functionally to identify sourcing and supply chain risk opportunities
- Analyze spend data/trends to recommend strategic sourcing solutions
- Assist in monitoring vendor performance through reviews and customer satisfaction surveys
- Participate in supplier selection, contract negotiation, and compliance tracking
Requirements
- BS or BA degree in related field preferred
- 5+ years Sourcing and Procurement experience
- CPSM, CPM, or APICS certification a plus
- SAP and e-Sourcing tool experience preferred; MRP experience a must
- Strong vendor management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Detail oriented and familiar with engineering specifications
