About the role

  • Maintain and regularly engage with readers on social media platforms
  • Share articles, shows & other stories on media platforms to ensure a wider range of readership
  • Monitor and track social media performance utilizing analytics and engagement metrics to inform future strategies and content
  • Maintain a level of professionalism on media platforms to ensure that personal bias and preferences are not mistaken as those of CFMU Radio Inc.
  • Use social media platforms to inform readers on the volunteer process
  • Encourage readers and listeners who are interested in volunteering with Campus Media

Requirements

  • Knowledge of TikTok, X, Instagram, YouTube and other social media back-ends
  • Quick typing skills
  • Strong sentence structure, little waste in grammar and choice of words
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate with readers effectively and professionally
  • Basic photo editing skills to pair media posts with relevant images
