About the role
- Provide overall direction to direct reports as related to process development and control for new and existing processes/products
- Coordinate scheduling of rotations of engineering personnel
- Evaluate the performance of the direct reports based on pre-established performance parameters
- Coach and develop direct reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and corrective actions
- Align strategies with business unit needs and projections
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, developing, and engaging top talent while ensuring a pipeline of talent is established for future roles
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required (engineering degree is preferred)
- 6+ years of relevant experience is required
- Experience effectively communicating with large groups of people
- Demonstrated ability to lead/facilitate problem solving teams
- Management experience with direct reports -or- leadership experience of some capacity
