About the role
- Manage and develop strategic key accounts in the healthcare market
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams
- Develop innovative business solutions and lead strategic growth projects
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with decision-makers within the Austrian healthcare market
- Develop and implement business and account plans for enterprise accounts, GPOs, ASCs, and hospital new-builds in alignment with the divisions
- Negotiate and manage long-term contracts, including financial modeling and pricing strategies
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and competitive intelligence
- Develop tailored value propositions and partnership concepts to enhance Stryker's market presence and growth
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to strategically position within the healthcare sector
- Increase customer satisfaction and market penetration through innovative solutions
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial role within the medical technology industry, such as sales, key account management, finance, business development, or marketing
- Proven expertise in new customer acquisition as well as contract and tender processes
- Strong knowledge of the Austrian healthcare market and experience working with purchasing groups/GPOs
- Comprehensive knowledge of sales and marketing strategies and solid commercial acumen to drive company growth
- Deep understanding of company-wide products, technologies, services, and business processes across all divisions
- Confident negotiation skills at senior management level
- Strong goal orientation, assertiveness, and resilience in a dynamic market environment
- Excellent organizational skills and analytical ability to make well-founded decisions
- Strong customer focus and persuasive communication skills
- Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Degree in health management, health economics, finance, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
