About the role
- Lead strategic planning for business development in partnership with business unit leadership
- Identify and evaluate inorganic growth opportunities using market research, competitive analysis, and due diligence
- Source and manage relationships with potential business development targets to build a robust pipeline
- Develop and present deal theses and recommendations to leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Build commercial and market models to support decision-making and transaction execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute transactions and support post-close integration
- Provide visibility into the business development pipeline and deliver actionable insights to leadership
- Lead adjacent segment reviews and deep dives into new market opportunities, making data-driven recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, market development, or market research
- Minimum 4 years of people management experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
