Perform preventive maintenance, installation, site surveys, demand and emergency services for digital cinema equipment
Perform maintenance on cinema projection equipment, digital signage, sound systems, servers, and power supplies
Provide demand service for customers; determine and execute a support plan
Test electronic assemblies, components, or parts using ohmmeter, voltmeter, ammeter, color meter, resistance bridge, oscilloscope, and automatic or computerized test equipment
Examine equipment and assemblies for defects and replace defective components
Repair equipment and perform field testing; resolve firmware and software issues
Direct investigation of customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications, and delivered condition of products
Record, analyze, and inform appropriate personnel of production quality and customer complaint status using written and electronic reporting
Install electronic or digital equipment and test; record activities in Field Point daily including work description, expenses, hours, labor and travel
Take ownership and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with electronics related to the Pro-Av market
Familiarity with computer and networking concepts and architecture
Experience with digital cinema equipment is preferred
Strong attention to detail
Proficient with MS Office
Exceptional customer service skills required
Valid, state issued driver’s license
Ability to stand, sit, squat and bend for a period of time
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Comfortable working in a high-stress, face-paced environment with shifting priorities
Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills
Self-starter who can find and resolve issues as they are identified
Ability to successfully interface with a wide range of personnel within the organization
Willingness to travel in and out of market up to 70-80% of the time; ability to work weekends, holidays and on-call
