💰 $55,000 - $60,000 per year

About the role

  • Assist in the preparation of journal entries and maintain accurate records for various accounts.
  • Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
  • Support the AP/AR functions by processing invoices, verifying expenses, and assisting with collections as needed.
  • Assist the entire accounting team in meeting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing deadlines.
  • Help gather data and prepare preliminary financial statements and schedules for management review.
  • Organize documentation and provide support for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure all financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Corporate Accounting
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas are a must).
  • A solid understanding of GAAP and basic accounting cycles.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal departments and vendors
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software, NetSuite preferred
