About the role
- Lead a team of strategic sourcing managers
- Oversee sourcing activities for Tech and Workplace functions
- Support key strategic initiatives that shape procurement at Stripe
- Drive cost savings and increase spend under management
- Direct more business to preferred suppliers
- Develop strategies, playbooks and workflows to scale preferred supplier usage
- Lead negotiations and supplier selection for high-impact contracts
- Build trusted partnerships with senior leaders and stakeholders
- Ensure compliant contracting and supplier onboarding
- Establish and monitor team OKRs and KPIs
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices
- Experience managing strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience with procurement in the tech industry or financial services sector (preferred)
- Familiarity with procurement analytics and performance metrics (preferred)
- Strong negotiation skills (preferred)
