About the role

  • Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses with a mission to increase the GDP of the internet.
  • Product Marketing team generates customer insights to inform product strategy and leads go-to-market across the product lifecycle.
  • Improve understanding of total addressable market across products, segments and regions and inform GTM strategy.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Pricing, Strategy, Operations and Finance to identify product-market fit and GTM investment gaps.
  • Develop market sizing, build quantitative models, conduct competitor research, and develop plans to unblock go-to-market efforts.
  • Manage highly interdependent, complex projects, prioritize investment decisions, and drive commercialization and adoption.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of prior experience with focus on payments / financial services and strategy.
  • Analytical mindset with experience of breaking down business problems quantitatively.
  • Experience with market sizing, and with building quantitative tools or financial models.
  • Experience with conducting competitor research on financials, understanding market landscape and competitor trends.
  • Ability to work with senior executives and product, and sales leaders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools. SQL experience is a plus.
  • Experience with financial services.
