About the role
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for shared services in India across the Payroll and HCM group and the broader Strada organization.
- Align shared services operations with the overall business strategy and objectives.
- Drive the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions to enhance service delivery.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Payroll and HCM services, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international regulations and standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to meet service demands.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations to optimize their Payroll and HCM processes.
- Address and resolve client issues and escalations promptly and effectively.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance service delivery.
- Lead initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage the shared services budget for India.
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures as needed.
- Ensure the efficient use of resources to achieve financial targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in shared services, payroll, HCM, or related fields
- Proven track record of leading and managing large, geographically dispersed teams
- Experience in the APAC region with a deep understanding of local regulations and business practices
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and innovation
- Proficient in using HCM and payroll software and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
