About the role
- Design, implement, and validate improvements to inventory management for client satisfaction
- Build relationships with stakeholders across product, engineering, finance, and operations
- Collaborate on analytical questions using data science techniques
- Use decision-modeling frameworks to guide decision-making
- Build tools and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
- Identify unaddressed problems and offer new solutions
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, statsmodels and other explainable predictive algorithms
- Comfortable with SQL and experience working with large datasets to gather insights
- Understanding of statistical principles and ability to apply them to data and experimental results
- Ability to communicate derived insights to stakeholders to drive action
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as matplotlib, seaborn, looker etc
- Ability to balance time against multiple systems and work streams with defined objectives
