About the role
- Manages daily activities of the plant ensuring compliance and productivity
- Selects, trains, and develops staff; conducts performance appraisals
- Monitors operations and staff, recommends changes for optimal resource utilization
- Ensures the entire plant is within regulatory compliance
- Pro-actively interfaces with area peers to achieve business goals
- Initiates timely resolution of identified hazards or unsafe conditions
Requirements
- Education equivalent to bachelor degree in Business or Logistics or the equivalent in related work experience
- Five or more years of management experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or distribution, production, or logistics environment with a focus on direct team member supervision
- Demonstrates good working knowledge of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office
