About the role
- Oversee multiple virtual learning programs, including public and private virtual school settings, ensuring they align with Stellar Virtual's mission, vision, values, and business objectives.
- Collaborate with program coordinators and educators to implement best practices and maintain high-quality educational standards.
- Monitor program performance, evaluate effectiveness, and implement improvements as needed.
- Lead and mentor a team of program coordinators, support staff, and educators to ensure they are motivated, aligned with company objectives, and capable of delivering exceptional results.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth and development.
- Work closely with the Director of Academics to allocate resources effectively, including budget management, staffing, and technology requirements.
- Ensure that programs have the necessary resources to operate smoothly and meet the needs of students and their families.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement strategies to continuously improve program quality and student outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including school districts, parents, and community partners.
- Act as a point of contact for addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback related to virtual learning programs.
- Ensure all programs comply with relevant educational regulations and standards in Tennessee based on Stellar Virtual’s Standard Operating Procedures in direct alignment with program partners (i.e., school districts).
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in education management or a virtual learning environment is strongly preferred, but we can accept similar experience as it applies to this role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of education regulations and policies in Tennessee is a plus.
- Proven ability to drive operational excellence and meet program goals and objectives.
- State residence in Tennessee is required, with up to 30% travel throughout the year.
