About the role
- Manage a portfolio of independent grocers and smaller retail accounts, serving as the primary relationship owner
- Conduct Annual Business Reviews (ABRs) to assess performance and manage maintenance renewals
- Develop and execute annual account plans focused on retention and revenue expansion
- Generate accurate quotes and manage pipeline activity in Salesforce (CRM)
- Address customer inquiries and service concerns while collaborating with internal teams
Requirements
- Experience supporting independent retailers or grocery accounts preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building capabilities
- Ability to manage a high-volume account portfolio
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Occasional travel for customer visits (as needed)
- Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
