About the role
- Provide legal services to the Consumer Protection Unit (CPU)
- Investigating serious or widespread allegations of consumer deception
- Filing suit against those who have violated consumer protection and related laws
- Resolving consumer abuses to restore consumer losses
- Conducting consumer education and working to encourage fair business practices
- Coordination with the Attorney General's Consumer Assistance Program (CAP)
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in criminal justice, law, or related legal field, or paralegal certificate AND two (2) or more years of experience performing paralegal duties.
- OR Four (4) or more years of experience performing paralegal duties.
