About the role

  • Provide legal services to the Consumer Protection Unit (CPU)
  • Investigating serious or widespread allegations of consumer deception
  • Filing suit against those who have violated consumer protection and related laws
  • Resolving consumer abuses to restore consumer losses
  • Conducting consumer education and working to encourage fair business practices
  • Coordination with the Attorney General's Consumer Assistance Program (CAP)

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in criminal justice, law, or related legal field, or paralegal certificate AND two (2) or more years of experience performing paralegal duties.
  • OR Four (4) or more years of experience performing paralegal duties.
