About the role
- This position is responsible for various tasks related to highway maintenance, such as repairing guardrails, cutting trees/brush, patching roads, picking litter, ditching, and more.
- In the winter months, this position will also assist with plowing and salting, and overtime may be required.
Requirements
- No education or experience required
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- A valid driver's license is required
- An incumbent must live within reasonable proximity of assigned workstation
- Possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required for the successful completion of original probation
- An incumbent must complete all VTTC required coursework within six (6) months or be enrolled.
