About the role

  • Lead a small team of data professionals responsible for crash data analysis, visualization, reporting, collection, quality control, and data management.
  • Support and guide the Crash Data Unit while ensuring federal requirements are met and stakeholder needs are addressed.
  • Balance people leadership with hands-on involvement in day-to-day analytical work.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and improvement of crash data programs through stakeholder engagement and thoughtful program development.
  • Apply strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and manage competing priorities.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree AND four (4) years or more of management experience in one or more of the following areas (a) development of program rules and policies; (b) development of long- and short-range goals and plans: (c) program evaluation; or (d) budget preparation OR highway maintenance, engineering, construction, planning or a combination thereof.
  • OR High school diploma or equivalent AND six (6) years or more of management experience in one or more of the following areas (a) development of program rules and policies; (b) development of long- and short-range goals and plans: (c) program evaluation; or (d) budget preparation OR highway maintenance, engineering, construction, planning or a combination thereof.
  • Some positions may require registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
