About the role
- Support design projects across the full UX lifecycle: research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual refinement
- Create design assets (layouts, icons, banners, UI components) that align with Quill’s brand guidelines and design system
- Assist in building interactive prototypes in Figma to communicate design concepts and user flows
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and marketing partners to ensure designs are practical, on-brand, and customer-first
- Conduct competitive and UX best practice reviews to inspire new design ideas and improve existing experiences
- Participate in design critiques, incorporating feedback into revisions and iterating quickly
Requirements
- Pursuing a master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Arts, Product Design or a related field
- Strong skills in Figma (or similar design/prototyping tools)
- A portfolio that demonstrates visual design fundamentals (typography, layout, color, hierarchy)
- Curiosity about user-centered design and eagerness to learn UX best practices
- Ability to take feedback, iterate quickly, and collaborate in a team setting
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
