Manage and complete projects assisting clients with air quality permitting, compliance and reporting, air dispersion modeling, and other environmental compliance tasks.
Manage client relationships and identify/respond to project opportunities.
Lead execution of air quality permitting and compliance projects in accordance with the Clean Air Act (CAA).
Manage projects and project teams to meet scope, schedule, budget, and profit expectations.
Prepare and assist with project deliverables and provide quality assurance/quality control of deliverables.
Use engineering principles to provide air quality permitting solutions for industrial and commercial equipment at facilities.
Perform marketing activities and prepare proposals describing scope, schedule, and estimated budget.
Organize and direct project teams for diverse clients and lead development of permitting and compliance strategies.
Assist clients with monitoring, planning, training, testing, record-keeping, and reporting protocols.
Mentor and assist with training team members.
Requirements
Proven demonstration of applying principles of engineering to evaluate industrial and commercial equipment designs at facilities for air permitting and compliance solutions.
Able to develop proposals and manage changes related to scope, schedule, and budget for projects.
Demonstrated knowledge of air quality environmental regulations and requirements, including Title V and Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) permitting under New Source Review (NSR).
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with both clients and project team members.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software platform, specifically Microsoft Excel.
Able to meet deadlines and put in the time needed to get the job done.
Able to travel regionally and as needed, have overnight trips.
Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Undergraduate degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field (Bachelor's degree).
Approximately 10 or more years of air quality permitting and compliance experience.
1 or more years of project management experience.
Ability to perform occasional field work with exposure to elements, including inclement weather.
