About the role
- Design and execute offline (print) collateral across brands including DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN, STANLEY, BLACK+DECKER, CUBCADET, TROYBILT, and Hustler.
- Create point-of-purchase, signage, large-format event graphics, brochures, and catalogs using Adobe Suite.
- Take projects from briefing through delivery, collaborating with project managers, art directors, and brand marketers.
- Prepare renderings and specs for creative ideas; perform image manipulation and color correction.
- Manage page layouts, master pages, styles, and data merges in InDesign.
- Organize and maintain creative files, adhere to process standards, and manage Adobe Libraries.
- Communicate with print vendors for pre-press and production quality control and problem solving.
- Track changes and revisions across multiple projects and interact with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay current with software capabilities, best practices, and suggest process optimizations and new concepts.
Requirements
- A 4-year degree in graphic design or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of work experience with an in-house creative team or advertising agency.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Experience with Photoshop layers, color schemes, color correction, fonts, clipping paths, and image manipulation.
- Experience with InDesign page layout, master pages, character and paragraph styles, and data merges.
- Knowledge of pre-press and print production; ability to communicate with print vendors for quality control.
- Excellent English in conversation and in writing.
- A portfolio featuring relevant work experience and examples (required).
- Strong organizational skills and obsession with clean, well-organized design files.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects, track details and revisions.
- Experience with PowerPoint design and master slides (a plus).
- Experience with Adobe Libraries and Box.com Enterprise (a plus).
- Workfront experience for managing and tracking tasks (a plus).
- Familiarity with AI automation techniques to implement into workflow (highly desirable).
