About the role
- Develop a strong technical understanding of specified fastening products
- Establish relationships with key specifying engineering firms in the territory
- Influence designers, architects, and engineers to specify fasteners through regular scheduled visits
- Hold regular technical presentations and training seminars for design professionals
- Use technical knowledge of products to support and build sales
- Provide assistance on proprietary technical anchor design software to clients
- Support local sales efforts from a technical level
- Ensure that submittals generated by contractors are approved
- Embrace and become versed in construction technology and trends
- Develop and maintain client records in CRM
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in design engineering, technical support, or technical sales role
- E.I.T / FE certified; Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred
- Construction Industry / Jobsite experience preferred
- A valid driver’s license
