Field Engineer

• Lead delivery of FEA‑based engineering consulting projects across multiple industries
• Develop end‑to‑end simulation workflows tailored to customer needs
• Perform advanced analyses including linear/nonlinear stress, thermal, modal, frequency response, and dynamic simulations
• Process and mesh complex customer CAD geometry
• Prepare technical reports and deliver results presentations to customers
• Support presales activities including discovery calls, technical reviews, and solution proposals
• Estimate project scope, cost, and schedule to support new business acquisition
• Collaborate closely with commercial account managers on account planning and execution
• Mentor and support other members of the Customer Service Engineering team
• Deliver custom workflow or application‑specific training as needed
• Travel to customer or test sites as required (up to 10%).

Principal Customer Service Engineer

• Promote the latest electronics technologies into customer designs to maximize Arrow’s electronics component content into projects that benefit our customers and will create new business for Arrow
• Understand customer needs and leverage Arrow’s engineering resources to facilitate solutions that bring value to customers
• Partner with the sales team across pre-and post-sales activities, providing technical support and consulting to promote demand creation
• Technical collaboration & research with sales, other Arrow departments & Suppliers in support of customer designs
• Champion return on engineering investment, design support priorities, initiatives, and promotions
• Manage supplier and customer expectations by building and developing relationships
• Attend and actively participate in strategic branch meetings and quarterly reviews
• Develop and drive strategic technical plans by supplier line or customer solutions
• Participate in Arrow initiatives through branch training and customer calls
• Organize engineering customer events
• Confidence and ability to independently organize & present technical workshops with labs to audiences

Field Applications Engineer

• Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes Shipping and Mailing equipment for our clients
• Support both Hardware and Software solutions
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment successfully with the goal of reducing Client callbacks
• Train clients on Pitney Bowes equipment at the time of installation
• Work in a 100% client facing capacity as a representative of Pitney Bowes
• Cover a multi-zip code territory requiring significant windshield time
• Utilize hand tools or small power tools to execute repairs, maintenance, and installations of Pitney Bowes Shipping and Mailing equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Field Service Technician

• The Field Service Technician - Electrical Testing will be responsible for performing electrical testing, maintenance, and repair services on electrical distribution systems and equipment.
• Field Service Test Technicians travel to customer sites (industrial & commercial) to inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data of low, medium and high voltage (480 Volt to 600 kV) electrical systems.
• Instrument transformer tests.
• Power transformer testing - Doble, TTR, Insulation Resistance, etc.
• Test both electro-mechanical and solid state relays.
• Cable testing - Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot.
• Automatic transfer switch troubleshooting.
• Low, Medium and High voltage switchgear and circuit breaker testing.
• Moderately complex relay calibration and power metering.
• Rotate emergency on-call duty and if called respond to customer emergencies in a timely manner.

• Engage with Sales and Marketing teams to provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support
• Drive design wins to revenue at select target clients
• Conduct architectural and board-level schematic reviews
• Fully support client development processes that include Microchip FPGA solutions
• Contribute and participate within a global team environment
• Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions

Senior Field Applications Engineer – FPGA

• Commissioning and maintenance of our heat pumps at end customers and system operators
• Providing service-oriented advice to our customers and heating contractors, by phone and on site, to ensure customer satisfaction
• Supporting your colleagues in technical field service across the wider area of your operating region
• Participating in on-call duty to respond to customers as quickly as possible

Field Service Technician – Karlsruhe Region

• Perform commissioning and maintenance of our heat pumps at end customers and plant operators
• Provide service-oriented advice to our customers and heating contractors by phone and on-site to ensure customer satisfaction
• Support your colleagues in the technical field service across the wider area of your deployment region
• Take on on-call duty to help our customers as quickly as possible

• Schedules and provides technical training to distributor personnel, contractors, dealers, and/or installers.
• Tests and troubleshoots Franklin Electric products. Supervises and assists at product installations.
• Promotes and represents Franklin Electric products and programs at tradeshows and special events. Conducts product demonstrations as needed.
• Collects and reports marketing information pertaining to competitive products, industry distribution or personnel changes, and customer needs or desires.
• Acts as a liaison between field, product management and engineering departments.
• Writes and submits timely and accurate reports, as well as special reports needed to highlight problems at specific sites and/or with certain customers or products.
• Able to use mechanical and electrical tooling such as pipe cutters, wrenches, voltmeters, etc.
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

Field Service Engineer

• Carrying out, servicing, inspection and repair of earthmoving machinery and equipment at customer premises or on site or if required at the appropriate depot.
• Diagnosing specific fault issues and action appropriately.
• Returning all warranty and other return parts cleaned and on time ensuring correct processes for packing and labelling.
• Ensuring all service information is read, understood and filed.
• Undertaking all work strictly in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations.
• Escalating the appropriate action in relation to broken or damaged company equipment.
• Developing an effective working relationship with the support team at the depot and can support others where required.
• Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment for self and others through a clear understanding of workplace safety requirements and systems.
• Supporting the roles of others ensuring administration and paperwork is completed effectively and on time as and when required.
• Coordinating with the customer ensuring that customer needs are understood and that a flexible approach is adopted to meeting their needs.
• Working with the customer in mind, making sure that quality work standards are maintained consistently and that post work, the repair site is clean and left in a condition that satisfies the customer.
