About the role
- Provides hands-on care to patients in an evidence-based manner
- Performs all steps of the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Teaches patients and families the knowledge needed to manage their care
- Monitors quality of nursing care provided
- Collaborates with healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred
- Experience with outpatient care coordination required
- 2 or more years of oncology experience preferred
- Ambulatory experience preferred
- Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
- CA-RN (Registered Nurse)
- OCN certification preferred, preferred
