- Provides hands-on care to patients in psychiatry oncology
- Assesses patients, interprets data, plans, implements, and evaluates care
- Coordinates care with other providers and teaches patients and families
- Establishes therapeutic relationships and mobilizes patients' strengths for recovery
- Monitors the quality of nursing care provided
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred
- 1 or more years of oncology experience required
- Psychiatry experience required
- Ambulatory experience required
- California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Psychiatric Nursing certification preferred
